Adding a Service
Service records are the backbone of your vehicle's maintenance history.
Getting there
You add a service directly from the vehicle's detail page. Choose a vehicle from the Vehicles page, and click the Add Service button.
Fields
Service Name Required
A clear description of the work performed.
Examples: Oil Change, Brake Pad Replacement, Tire Rotation, Annual Inspection
Vehicle
The vehicle this service was performed on. This is already filled in when creating a service from the vehicle page.
Vehicle Mileage Optional
Your odometer reading at the time of service. Used to track mileage-based maintenance intervals and automatically fills in the mileage for any parts you link to this service.
Service Provider Optional
The shop or mechanic that did the work. Check Self-performed / DIY maintenance if you did it yourself.
Completed Date & Due Date Optional
Completed Date is when the service was finished. Due Date is for scheduling upcoming maintenance — set it to remind yourself when something needs to be done next.
Cost Optional
Total amount paid for the service, in dollars.
Description Optional
Notes, observations, or details about the service. Great for recording what was found during inspection, what the mechanic recommended, or unusual symptoms.
Attachments Optional
Upload receipts, invoices, inspection reports, or photos. Multiple files are supported.
Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, PDF
Maximum size: 5 MB per file
Pro tip
Photograph your receipt and attach it to the service record. It builds a complete paper trail that's useful for warranty claims or when you sell the vehicle.
Viewing all services
You can view a summary of all services records for each of your vehicles on the Services page.
Editing or deleting a service
Go to Services, click the service, then click Edit or Delete.
Note: Deleting a service also permanently deletes any parts that are linked to it.
